Infection prevention with single-use products

In a presentation given during the EUS-ENDO 2017 congress, Prof. Marco Bruno (Erasmus Medical Centre, Rotterdam) discussed the need for and the design improvements delivered by DEC™.

Marco J. Bruno is professor of Gastrointestinal Oncology and director of Endoscopy in the Department of Gastroenterology and Hepatology at the Erasmus Medical Centre in Rotterdam. His clinical and research activities focus on gastrointestinal oncology, hepato-pancreato-biliary diseases and interventional endoscopy, including endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancre¬atography (ERCP) and endoscopic ultrasound (EUS). He is also actively involved in the area of infection prevention after GI procedures, leading research programs.
