Sneak Preview
UEGW 2016 will see PENTAX Medical showcasing its innovative range of key products launched this year, including the world first, OPTIVISTA EPK-i7010 processor featuring both digital and now optical enhancements. Also on the stand will be new DEFINA GI system which provides unmatched price/performance imaging.
There will also be a dedicated Blackbox Innovations™ room at UEGW this year where we can discuss the latest findings and explain our R&D projects with selected groups of clinicians. We are looking forward to a fruitful discussion following the successful commencement of the Blackbox Innovations™ program earlier this year with the first Blackbox Innovations™ workshops in Augsburg Germany in July 2016.
This opening meeting was focussed on Ergonomics, the impact of long therapeutic procedures on clinicians and how the ‘Scope of the Future’ can be designed to minimise this impact. It provided a lot of valuable thoughts and ideas from the discussions raised with the clinicians who attended. This is just one of series of workshops designed to consider the necessary elements for the ‘Scope of the Future’. Further workshops are planned for November 2016 and February 2017, these will focus on Patient Safety and Hygiene and Improving Imaging.
