PENTAX Europe GmbH and Hitachi Medical Systems GmbH renew and reinforce their strategic partnership in Germany
For more than twenty years PENTAX Europe GmbH and Hitachi Medical Systems GmbH have entertained a successful strategic partnership in the area of endoscopic ultrasound (EUS), combining the PENTAX optical / endoscopic expertise with Hitachi Medical Systems’ Ultrasound core competence. Within the framework of this collaboration a series of state-of-the-art ultrasound endoscopes were jointly developed; the latest one being the PENTAX EG-3270UK, which takes user- and patient friendliness to a new level by its exceptional thinness compared with equivalent products in the market as of today.
Hitachi is the sole partner of PENTAX to sell and service PENTAX ultrasound endoscopes on the German market. With its technically and medically highly qualified EUS specialists Hitachi offers an unprecedented level of support to EUS experts on the clinical user side.
The added value of this strategic collaboration for the EUS user is to be seen in exceptionally sharp and clear diagnostic images that enable the clinical user to reliably spot even very small lesions.
Further important clinical benefits such as Contrast Harmonic Imaging, Imaging Fusion like Picture-in-picture, (EUS-FNA) and the Hitachi Real-Time Elastography (HI-RTE) round off the picture of a superior diagnostic working environment. Highly experienced Hitachi application specialists are ready to support the clinical user at any time.
PENTAX and Hitachi have now renewed and reinforced a partnership which spans several parts of the value chain, from the product development down to the clinical user, enabling an optimal alignment not only of the optical and ultrasound technologies, but also of marketing and sales activities as well as the application- and technical support for maximum customer benefit.
