Minimize discomfort

Compared to using ambient air, inflating the body with CO2 minimizes patient discomfort from bloating and cramping due to the rapid absorption of CO2 by the tissues. This may enable physicians to use less sedation during procedures, and may reduce the number of patients who need to be seen by a physician during recovery.

Convenient warm water irrigation

The PENTAX Medical Irrigation Pump can deliver warm water irrigation during GI endoscopy procedures. When combined with PENTAX Medical GI endoscopes, the Irrigation Pump can deliver warm water through the auxiliary water jet or biopsy instrument channels for clear visualization. The pump can be used with PENTAX Medical Irrigation Tubing and Connectors and features an easy-to-use water bottle cradle. An automatic prime button provides instant irrigation with hands-free, foot pedal control.
