Training for Excellence

The field of Gastroenterology is dynamic, and the continuous development of new technologies and techniques requires new skills from physicians. PENTAX Medical’s Training for Excellence program aims to offer professional education that ensures competence amongst endoscopists.

Our Centers of Excellence, located across Europe, enable clinicians to be trained by leading experts in their respective fields. Each course encourages participants and trainers to share ideas and discuss cases.

The Centers of Excellence supported by PENTAX Medical offer a variety of in-depth training courses in four different areas of application:

  • Interventional Endoscopy: These courses will help you to achieve a better knowledge of clinical indications and new techniques for endoscopic interventional procedures.
  • Advanced Endoscopy: Detection and characterization are essential phases of the endoscopic pathway. You will have the opportunity to experience the newest and most advanced imaging technologies.
  • Standard Endoscopy: These courses aim to support the development of new skills in the field of Flexible Endoscopy.
  • Hands-on-courses: The Centers of Excellence will give you the opportunity to experience new techniques and technologies hands-on.

In the next months the Centers of Excellence will focus on the following relevant topics in Endoscopy:

  • Advanced ERCP courses will be held in the centers in Milan and Tübingen.
  • Develop ESD-EMR and Interventional endoscopy therapeutic skills at the European Institute of Oncology in Milan, and in several other centers.
  • Advanced EUS courses can be attended at Copenhagen University Hospital Herlev, the San Raffaele Hospital in Milan and in Turkey.
  • The clinical relevance of advanced imaging in GI will be the focus of a course presented at University College Hospital London.

If you are interested in attending one of these training courses, please contact your local PENTAX sales team and/or visit the Training for Excellence web page at: www.training-for-excellence.eu
