PlasmaTYPHOONdry

THE UNIQUE SOLUTION FOR
FAST DRYING OF ENDOSCOPES

Boosting endoscope reprocessing to enhance patient safety and hospital efficiency

The PlasmaTYPHOONdry is available in EMEA only in selected countries. Please contact your local sales representatives to learn more.

Drying is critical to lower the risk of infections.

Insufficient drying can create favorable conditions for biofilm formation, thus increasing the risk of infections.

  • Residual humidity supports micro-organism proliferation.
  • Typical endoscope drying time in cabinets.
  • Effective channels drying minimizes infection risks.

Reducing channel drying times to just 1 – 5 minutes1)

The PlasmaTYPHOONdry uses an innovative approach to drying with two different levels of airflow. The process begins with a laminar flow and moves on to a heated turbulent flow to simultaneously dry all endoscope channels.

What experts say

"Accurate endoscope drying is crucial, whereas a humid environment facilitates microbial growth during storage. The final drying steps greatly reduce the risk of remaining pathogens." 2)
