We appreciate that safety is key to providing modern day healthcare. As a medical device manufacturer, patient safety has always been a primary concern. All of our products are manufactured to the highest standards to ensure not just operational efficiency, but also easy reprocessing for the highest standards of hygiene. As part of our program of innovation, we are looking even more closely at the subject of patient safety with our Patient First program.
In particular, Duodenoscopes have been the subject of concerns following cases of potential infections occurring in the United States with other manufacturers’ devices after treatment. We will be introducing a revolutionary solution to improve reprocessing effectiveness.
Our R&D teams have been looking at all aspects of endoscopic products to see how patient safety can be optimized. We have identified several areas within the standard endoscope design that could be further enhanced in line with improving patient safety
