We had an amazing time at the 19th edition of EURO-EUS in Santiago de Compostela, Spain!

Over three days, attendees joined expert-led sessions and followed live cases transmitted from leading centers around the world.

Hands-on training is essential to build confidence in GI endoscopy.

We are proud to support the IRCAD Basic Gastrointestinal Endoscopy Course taking place March 16-18, 2026 in Strasbourg.

The course is designed to provide the essential knowledge for high-quality endoscopic examination of the upper, mid and lower GI tract across different clinical scenarios. Through dry-lab sessions, ex-vivo models and live tissue training, participants gain immersive practice in scope handling and hand-eye coordination.

It is a unique opportunity for physicians in training and early-career endoscopists to learn and refine core therapeutic techniques, including polypectomy, EMR, ESD and hemostasis, while working in realistic clinical workflows under expert guidance using our endoscopy systems.

Did you know that even after rigorous high-level disinfection, some duodenoscopes can still carry potentially harmful bacteria?

A recent randomized clinical trial (ICECAP Randomized Clinical Trial)* evaluated duodenoscopes with a disposable elevator cap (DEC duodenoscope / ED34-i10T2).

The results are impressive:
- Persistent microbial contamination dropped from 11.2% → 3.8% – a 66% reduction in contamination risk (RR = 0.34)
- ERCP technical success remained high: 94.6% with DEC scopes vs 90.7% with standard scopes
- Safety outcomes were comparable

This study highlights how small design innovations can make a big difference, improving patient safety without compromising performance.
