It has been an exciting few months at PENTAX Medical. We have recently introduced our Blackbox Innovations™ program in support of our globalized R&D process. As an organisation we appreciate the importance of our customers’ involvement in our product development. The Blackbox Innovations™ program provides a structure for our Global Product team and R&D teams to work closely with clinicians from around the world.
A series of dedicated workshops have been established to allow us to spend quality time with our customers to identify their product requirements and then involve them throughout the development process to ensure the end product meets their specific needs and provides the required ‘Scope of the Future’. We have already hosted an Ergonomic workshop and have a Hygiene & Patient Safety workshop and Endoscopic Imaging workshops scheduled in the near future.
It is our customers that drive our business and we are always looking to work as closely as possible with you. I would like to thank all those that have been involved in the Blackbox Innovations™ program so far, and look forward to welcoming more of our partners into the program going forward. A dedicated Blackbox room at UEGW will enable our team to exchange ideas with our clinical partners and gather feedback on our upcoming innovations.
