PENTAX Medical is focused on providing superior image quality to the physicians to support them in their everyday practices. 2016 will see PENTAX Medical take this proposition to the next level with the launch of premium endoscopic solutions in each segment of the business, assisting the customer throughout the full diagnostic pathway and guiding the optimum therapeutic decision. This edition of InFocus has a special i-scan theme in support of the impending launch of OPTIVISTA, our new processor. Due to launch in May, OPTIVISTA features the best of real-time enhanced endoscopy (i-scan SE/TE) with the addition of optical enhancement (i-scan OE) to enable enhanced detection, characterization and demarcation. The digital and optical enhancements together provide the optimum system for improved visualization of both patterns and vessels.
These new products have been developed at PENTAX Medical’s four R&D sites. PENTAX Medical has research sites in Augsburg, Germany and Boston in the US, as well as research and development sites in Japan and Montvale in the USA. The sites work together to ensure PENTAX is at the forefront of medical design and development. It is a pleasure to work with our partners to deliver to the market the optimal solutions that support the full diagnostic pathway. This will be an exciting time for the PENTAX Medical organization, strengthening our market offering in each area of our business.
