Reliability in manual reprocessing
Manual cleaning is key to ensure the reliable reprocessing of endoscopes. Introduced to improve confidence in manual pre-cleaning, PROfILE single-use cleaning brushes are designed, validated and made by PENTAX Medical to meet the highest quality standards.
To prove cleaning efficiency, the PROfILE single-use cleaning brushes were initially tested against residual soil and compared against the performance of legacy brushes. Through an authorized statistical test method, PROfILE brushes were proven to deliver more reproducible results, reducing the variability of the residual soil amount (Table 1).
Compliant with highest reprocessing standards
To fully comply with the current standards, PENTAX Medical has also validated the PROfILE brushes according to the standard requirements. See figure 1 above.
